About These Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the dropITdirect website (dropitdirect.co.nz) and any services purchased through it. By submitting an enquiry, making a payment, or using our services, you agree to these terms.

These terms are between you (the customer) and Thrive Local NZ Ltd (trading as dropITdirect), a company registered in Wellington, New Zealand. IRD Number: 148-656-673.

Our Services

dropITdirect provides website design and build, Facebook Business Page setup, business email setup, and ongoing website hosting and management for small businesses and tradespeople across New Zealand.

Services are delivered on a monthly subscription basis. A one-off setup fee applies when you begin, followed by a recurring monthly fee depending on the plan you select.

All prices are quoted in New Zealand dollars and are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.

Enquiry Form

When you submit our contact form, you are providing us with your details so we can respond to your enquiry. Submitting the form does not create a contract or obligation on either side.

We collect your name, business name, email address, and phone/WhatsApp number for the purpose of responding to your enquiry and discussing our services with you.

We will not use your contact details to send unsolicited marketing without your consent.

Payments & Subscriptions

Payments are processed securely via Stripe. When you subscribe to a plan, you are authorising a recurring monthly payment to Thrive Local NZ Ltd (IRD: 148-656-673). Your payment details are stored and managed by Stripe — we do not store your card details on our systems.

Your subscription will continue and be billed monthly until you cancel. You can cancel at any time — there are no lock-in contracts.

The one-off setup fee is charged at the time you sign up and is separate from the monthly subscription.

All payments are in NZD and are subject to GST where applicable.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time with no notice period required. To cancel, contact us at info@dropitdirect.co.nz or via WhatsApp and we will stop your subscription promptly.

Cancellation will take effect from your next billing date. No further charges will be made after cancellation is confirmed.

The one-off setup fee is non-refundable. Monthly payments already made are also non-refundable. This applies regardless of the reason for cancellation.

If you cancel, your website will remain live until the end of the current paid period, after which it will be taken offline.

Your Responsibilities

To allow us to build and maintain your website, you agree to:

We are not responsible for delays caused by a failure to provide required information or approvals.

Intellectual Property

Once your subscription is active and all payments are up to date, you own the content on your website (text, images, logos) that you have provided or approved.

The underlying code, templates, and design elements built by dropITdirect remain the intellectual property of Thrive Local NZ Ltd unless otherwise agreed in writing.

If you cancel your subscription, we reserve the right to take the website offline. We do not automatically transfer website files upon cancellation unless a separate agreement is made.

Limitation of Liability

We will do our best to keep your website live and performing well. However, we cannot guarantee 100% uptime and are not responsible for outages caused by third-party hosting providers, domain registrars, or circumstances outside our control.

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, Thrive Local NZ Ltd's liability to you for any loss or damage arising from our services is limited to the total amount you have paid us in the three months prior to the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or economic loss, including loss of income or business opportunity.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify active subscribers by email.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
